What Is CdA?

Full form is Cucchiaio d’Argento  Global Language Centre

What is Cucchiaio d’Argento?

“Cucchiaio d’Argento (in Italian Language) stands for Silver Spoon. We have selected it, as the name of the Centre, being a symbol of Good Luck, which we wish to all our students.”
CdA Centre has been formed with the aim and objective of opening an opportunity for foreign language learning courses training for those who prefer opting for different careers for their life.

Why we learn foreign languages?

In an increasingly globalized world, knowing a foreign language helps you add that extra line to your resume. There is every possibility to turn language learning into a full-time career.

With foreign direct investment taking place by leaps and bound, thanks to globalization, huge opportunities are opening for experts in foreign languages. With the increasing trade ties; there is an expanding need for foreign language experts especially in French, German, Spanish, Italian,  Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Hindi. With globalization of Indian economy, multinationals coming to India and more and more Indian companies are going for joint ventures, so we need translator, interpreter, tourist guides and fields like advertising, IT, finance, hotels, entertainment, Public Relations, mass communication, Business Process Outsourcing, embassies and publishing, knowing different languages will be a plus point.

When an overseas company invests in other country, the investors usually look for local human resources. And India as well as West Bengal is not an exception to this rule. Multinational companies are coming to India and Indian companies are going abroad for joint ventures. Because of job opportunities for those having proficiency in foreign languages are on demand.

English is enough to purchase a foreign product or service, but when it comes to selling in a foreign country, it is necessary to know the relevant language. If the sales person speaks to the buyer in his mother tongue, the client connects better to the product.

PROGRAM BENEFITS

This program is designed in association with Alliance Francaise and Netaji Subhas Open University to full-fill the growing demand for competent foreign language experts to face the international business interaction challenges. With such a large Latino population in the U.S. and booming Latin economies outside the U.S., employers are desperate for people who speak Spanish.
